Who We Are
GATHER+GIVE started in 2019, out of a desire to make supporting local causes approachable, enjoyable, and impactful. We do this by holding fundraising events and donating 100% of the proceeds to our local partnerships.
ALL G+G donations are tax-deductible.
Partner Causes
Love, Inc.
Love, Inc. is a community network that meets the needs of our neighbors, helping them get on their feet and take steps toward self-sufficiency.
50% of proceeds go to Love, Inc.
TLC
TLC’s mission is to provide families and individuals with temporary shelter and basic necessities while assisting them in gaining skills to become self-sufficient, employed, and independent.
40% of proceeds go to TLC
Local Education
We invest in local education via partnership with the Burlington Common Scholarship committee as well as Music Matters.
10% of proceeds go to local education
Between 2019 and 2025, we’ve raised over $240,000 for our partner causes. That’s over:
FAQ Will the causes that receive funds change?
Our team will review this annually, and communicate any changes in advance of them taking effect.
FAQ Are donations tax deductible?
Yes, and you will receive a statement at year-end for tax purposes. Ticketed event purchases are not tax-deductible.
FAQ Why wouldn’t I just donate directly to the causes?

That said, since fundraising is really all we do, we’re able to accomplish 2 things:
We make life easier for our donors by covering giving fees, emailing reports, and sending giving statements.
We make life easier for our partners, because they get a monthly check from us WITHOUT having to use resources on any of the stuff mentioned above.
We simply want to engage new donors, help get the word out about the important work that’s happening locally, and make it easy for people to give. But again, if you prefer to give directly to one of our partners, please do!
